Dumping ground cleared

3 Areas of the village back in January looked like a dumping ground. Often people would dump rubbish in these areas. These areas where very untidy, looked terrible and made the village look very bad.

I am pleased to say that two of these areas have been fenced, planted and maintained. All of the costs to clearing these areas and maintaining them have been met by a small amount of residents from the village.

The costs in real terms are small, but it is a ongoing project. Some of the land is for sale and we can only hope that it is sold and houses built on it.

Working together makes for a better community

This small but yet important improvement strongly demonstrates what is possible when a group of residents get together.

Two out of three aint bad

Really I would like to see the third area of the village brought to the same condition as the other two.

Did the stop signs work?

Did the stop signs and Royal Park village banners work?

About 3 months ago we asked residents to pay a small amount of money to help buy banners and stop signs for the entrances of the village.

Ever since the Royal Park village had been built many local people used the village as a short cut between Thepprasit Road and Thrappraya Road. One area of the village witnessed hundreds of cars and motor bikes every day.

The Royal Park Village is now quieter

From walking around the village I have noticed a large reduction of traffic cutting through the village. A real improvement for the people on both the main roads and Soi 4.

What happened to the old web site?

What happened to the old web site?

The old web site had been attacked by spam and it was very difficult to keep removing it and trying to block the spam. For this reason we have replaced the old web site with this new system.

Out with the old and in with the new

It should be easier to reduce the amount of spam on the site and at the same time make it easier for residents to keep in touch via the site and give their opinions to the different projects taking place.

Royal Park CCTV Camera System

As you know we are installing a CCTV camera system on the Royal Park village

One of the residents James has been very kind and has fully enabled this project by donating two high quality cameras and pc card recording hardware (at the cost of 2000$. The system needs further hard ware to make the project a reality.

A Big thank you to James for donating 2000$ worth of hardware to the village

Richard and Niclas are also donating money to bring all the hardware together and make it work. (Separate to the cameras.)

The village will then have two cameras on the west and north gate. The system will have the ability to hold up to 32 cameras

Cameras throughout the village

Many residents have so far asked for a camera to be fitted in their area. The village has an opportunity to have a professional cctv system that will be the envy of every village in the area at a fraction of the true cost.
