The Royal Park Village has
- Two companies are employed by the village to maintain and clean the swimming pools
- Home and Pool maintain the main swimming pool and the shared pools located soi 5 -6 soi 6 – 7
- Michaels pool and building company maintains the pool at soi 4 – 5.
I won’t explain here why we have two pool companies on the village, we just do.
Why does the swimming pool turn green?
When the chlorine level in a swimming pool, falls low, bacteria can begin to grow in the water, the hot climate will help the bacteria to grow fast. As soon as the bacteria takes hold, cleaning the pool with just chlorine will not work, yes the Chlorine will stop any further growth of the bacteria. But now the water has an amount of dead bacteria floating about.

A chemical is then added to the water to grab hold of the particles in the water and drag them to the bottom of the pool. Then the pool people are able to vacuum up the waste on the pool floor.
Testing the pool water to make sure it is good for swimming
At this time Bob uses the main swimming pool 3 – 4 times a week, while he is at the pool Bob tests the water to ensure that the chlorine level is correct and that the Php balance is also correct. If there readings are not correct, Bob is then able to inform the pool company.
Can you help test the pool you use?
If any of the residents of the Royal Park Village shared pools have the time and would be able to test the pool water 1 or 2 times a week, please let me know and I will supply the testing kit and demonstrate how to test the pool water. Testing the water is very easy, quick and straight forward.

Two people did not pay Royal Park Village Maintenance 2010

Tony from 315/251 is selling his house and is moving back to the UK. Tony hasn’t paid 2010 or 2011 maintenance fess. His key passes for the gates have been switched off. When the house has new owners, 2010 and 2011 maintenance fees will have to be paid before the gate passes will be reissued.
The owner of house 315/287 does not live on the village; I am waiting for him to return so I can deliver the invoices for 2010 and 2011.

The main swimming pool toilet and changing area, many of the floor tiles were broken or cracked, and the grout was dirty. The tiles were not Non slip.
Bob suggested we look at upgrading this area and it was agreed that the tiles should be removed and new tiles fitted.
The new tiles that have been fitted to this area are non slip.
