Improvements made to the Royal Park Village 2010

As you will be aware, 2010 the management of the Royal Park Village was handed back to the residents; giving us the opportunity to make much needed improvements for both safety and cosmetic reasons

The improvements made so far

West Gate (Thrappraya Road)

A new walk way has been built with a wall, planting and lighting. This was an area dangerous to walk, with uneven ground and no lighting. Some of the female residents had suggested that the area be made more safe as they felt vulnerable in this area while entering the village

Signs on the West Gate and North West Gate

Finally we have arranged for stainless steel “Royal Park Village” signs over these two entrances.
This work was completely paid by private money

Community areas with childrens play items

More than 50% of this project was paid for privately by the following residents.

  • Willie 315/265
  • Peter 315/279
  • Bob 315/271
  • Hans 315/240
  • Richard 315/272
  • Joe 315/208
  • Electric Company

If you remember in the beginning this was an open walk way where non residents entered the village via Thepprasit road, since then we built a boundary wall which stopped people entering the village.

Then non residents and residents alike began using this area to dump rubbish, we have now completely cleaned and surfaced the area giving it real purpose.

Every day children and families can be seen playing and enjoying this area.

The Main swimming pool

The Main swimming pool a Key card lock system was fitted, this was paid for privately completely by residents

  • Alec 315/268
  • William 315/247
  • Richard 315/272
  • Fred 315/260
  • Svian 315/281
  • James 315/267

Both the male and female toilet have been opened to residents and now being cleaned more frequently.

Since the key card lock has been fitted, people from outside of the village no longer use this pool, leaving garbage. Also the plastic trimming on the pool has not been broken.

Swimming Pool Wall

The wall at the main swimming pool was at a low level and people from outside of the village would enter the village by climbing over the wall, this wall has been heightened to stop people entering the village via this wall

My Thanks to all the people that have helped out.

I WOULD NOW LIKE TO ASK THAT PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT PAID
THEIR ANNUAL MAINTENANCE FEES PLEASE DO SO AS SOON AS
    POSSIBLE.

We have been lucky to accomplish so much with increasing the annual fees.

IF ALL PEOPLE DO NOT PAY THEIR FEES THIS WILL REQUIRE THE RAISING OF ANNUAL FEES.

I am sure you all want to keep the great work going without raising fees.

A LIST OF UNPAID FEES WILL BE POSTED SOON.

If you know how to contact the people involved, your help would be appreciated

    Hi Richard,
Will put on my thinking cap.

But, will be really happy when the “rubbish tip” extending from the Apartment Block / Land Office to end of road is being taken care of.

Some bins, maybe, so that the millions visiting the land office and parking along the road actually throw their litter in it. Stay well.

    XXXXXXXXXX

  3. Colin Says:

Many thanks for passing this on and thanks also for the hard work you have put into getting it all done.

    Kind regards,

    Colin

I am only too sorry that I am not there to help, hopefully in a few years time. Such a short time, and each improvement adds to the Village and make it a place where people should be proud to reside. Each step is in the right direction. I wonder where the Village would, if all paid their Fees…………..
