Royal Park Entrance gates
For the last twelve months there has been a lot of talk about placing real security gates on all 3 entrances of the village.
Niclas a Royal Park resident from Soi 4 is presently running this project which includes speaking with residents to explain how the security gates will work and raising the money to pay for the project.
The Project will include
- 3 New security gates and guard houses.
- A wall to be built opposite houses 270, 271, 266. Presently this area there is no wall or barrier and people can enter the village from Thepprasit road.
- A Toilet for the Security staff
7 – eleven gate
This gate will be moved from soi 4 about 30 meters nearer the 7 – eleven. A guard house will also be built here.
The other two gates will be placed in the position the barriers are now. All three gates will be electronic automatic opening and card passes will be given to all residents.
At this time, many residents are meeting to talk about ways in which to make the village more secure and a full residents meeting will be called when more information is available.
Joe a Royal Park resident has been kind to help get one price for the work and Niclas is getting other prices.
Please help raise the money to finalise the village.
Benefits to you
- This will increase the value of your home by at least 200,000 Baht
- The Royal Park Village will become an exclusive village

- Keep away stray dogs from the village

I think the idea of putting vehicle gates at the entrances is an excellent idea. Do to the amount of foot traffic I would suggest that we consider adding a small pedestrian gate at the main entrance and the 7-11 entrance to reduce the wear on the electronic motors that move the vehicle gates which are heavy. The pedestrian gates could be controlled with an electronic lock controlled by the gate guard. We can also put a chain and lock on the swimming pool gate during the construction activity to control access into the pool. Just some thoughts.

Good idea. There will be many occassions when legitimate people won’t have their card with them, it also caters for guests.

Unfortunately having been informed that it is proposed by some that only one gate will be manned 24 hours a day this necessary addition may not work.
